Every road trip has its own magic, but when you add a Tesla Model 3 Long Range AWD into the mix, you take things to a whole new level. For five unforgettable days, we explored some of the UK’s breathtaking landscapes- from the beauty of Winnats Pass in the Peak District to the wilderness of Cow Green Reservoir and the serene shores of Holy Island. But this wasn’t just a road trip – it was an experience. A journey powered by innovation, comfort and a touch of Tesla magic!
First Impressions – The Future on Wheels!
The moment we got into the Tesla Model 3, it was clear: this wasn’t just a car. It was like stepping into the future. The minimalist design, the touchscreen, the sleek glass roof… everything felt effortlessly modern. And let’s not forget that smooth, whisper-quiet start. No key, no buttons – just hop in, tap the brake and go!
For a family of four, space is a big deal, and the Tesla delivered! Plenty of legroom, a surprisingly huge trunk AND a frunk (front trunk!), and the panoramic roof that made every drive feel open and airy.
The Drive – Effortless, Exciting and Fun!
One of the biggest surprises? How insanely smooth the drive was. Whether we were winding through the hills of the Peak District or cruising the long open roads to Northumberland, the Tesla handled it all with ease.
🚗 Steering Modes on the Go – Feeling sporty? Switch to Sport Mode for a sharper response. Want a more relaxed drive? Comfort Mode had us gliding effortlessly through the countryside. Adjusting it was so simple – just a few taps on the touchscreen!
🌿 Zero Emissions, 100% Enjoyment – Knowing we were exploring these beautiful landscapes without leaving a carbon footprint made the experience even more special.
Supercharging Pit Stops – More Fun Than Expected!
I’ll admit – I was a bit worried about charging. Would we be stuck waiting around? Nope! The Tesla Supercharger network made it ridiculously easy. Plug in, grab a coffee, let the kids have a quick dance party (yes, really!) and by the time we were done, we were good to go again.
🚀 Charging Speed? Crazy Fast! – We’d go from 20% to 80% in around 20-30 minutes – just enough time for a snack break.
🎮 Entertainment for Everyone! – While charging, we explored the Tesla ToyBox (see more on my IG), where we:
✅ Doodled fun messages on the Sketchpad 🎨
✅ Blasted fun sound effects with Boombox Mode 🔊
✅ Got cosy with the Fireplace Mode 🔥 (the screen even flickers like a real fire!)
Charging turned into a fun little break instead of an inconvenience.
The Final Verdict – Would We Do It Again?
Absolutely! This trip wasn’t just about getting from A to B – it was about the experience. The Tesla Model 3 made every mile feel exciting, comfortable and effortless.
